Soft and simple days are not so simple. They pass away faster then heavy days. Their ends are almost always to near. But what if…..
What if we could slow down time?
What if we had the control to slow time on those simple, lovely days?
When the sun comes out after months of darkness. When the overbearing list of to-do’s floats away in the soft breeze. When time lines up to give you a few free moments to breathe.
What if we could slow down time to take in more of these great moments?
What if we took time to allow more of these moments?
I like to think that we might not have time for war.
I believe that if we stopped to smell the roses, we wouldn’t be so inclined to stop and yell at our neighbors.
I am pretty sure that if we slow down our days to a halt, we slow down our aggressive overreactions to others.
What if we gave up competing against others and started to talk about the beauty of the world around us?
I would like that.
