It has occurred to me, often, to ask myself "who am I to share these pieces of writing and thoughts?"
Front line support work is not something that has a historical account of rock stars, masters or fame. It is a field not of individuals but of teams, groups, communities ans families.
So what do I have to share? I am not a technical writer, nor am I a trained professional. I have a few letters beside my name but none as eye catching as M.D. or Dr.
So who am I to share?
Well I am a front line worker. I have lessons that I have learned. I have tips I wish to share. I have knowledge that I have gained from my experience working with people who need some help.
I care about what I do and hope to improve my skills and the skills of others around me by sharing and listening to what others have to share.
I read, I research, I am humbled daily by what I do.
I am not an expert, nor do I ever care to be considered one. I am a worker who wishes to see a stronger community with my fellow workers.
I share because I can..... is that no reason enough?
